About Us

The attorneys of MarineLawyers.net are prepared to offer you a unique package of services focused on Purchasers and Owners of Private Pleasure Crafts. As you will learn from reading Our Mission we have a large network of professionals throughout the country to assist you with your boating legal needs.

As experienced litigators we have a unique approach to negotiating and drafting our clients’ New Vessel Construction Agreements and New and Used Purchase Agreements. Through litigating these matters we have gained specialized knowledge as to what clauses in agreements typically give rise to disputes. When approaching the drafting and negotiating process, we use this knowledge to better protect our clients’ interests - - giving us an advantage over attorneys whose experience lies primarily in drafting their clients’ agreements, not in litigation.

The attorneys of MarineLawyers.net also have extensive experience in Arbitrating matters as well. Many agreements contain “Arbitration Clauses” which are terms of an agreement that require that disputes proceed through an arbitration process instead of in Court. Depending on the circumstances, an arbitration clause may or may not be in your best interest. We have the experience and knowledge to assist you making these types of decisions when negotiating and drafting your Agreement. However, should you be required to proceed through arbitration, our skill in arbitrating disputes relating to vessels is as broad as our litigation experience.

We have successfully represented Vessel Owners with claims and defenses relating to the use, operation and maintenance of their vessels as well as complex transactions involving private pleasure crafts from Southern Florida, the Eastern Seaboard, the Great Lakes, the West Coast as well as various inland lakes and tributaries in a number of states.
